National Rankings in Slalom

The final positions for Shark paddlers at the end of the 2022 slalom season. It has been a great year for our slalom team based at Harefield, under the guidance of Rick Moore, our lead Slalom coach.

Men’s Division 2 K1

Our Top ranked paddler is Khaleel Ziauddin, he finished 2022 in 49th place, with 763 points. He is our top ranked paddler for the second year running.

Aaron Nolan was our second ranked paddler in 56th place, he collected 684 points from just three events, hopefully we will see him at more events in 2023 and a higher ranking status.

Our only other Division 2 paddler is 62-year-old Neal Underwood, who finished the season in 89th place with 156 points. 3rd ranked master over 60.

Division 3 Ladies’ K1

The Sharks’ top ranked lady is Jasmin Uhlhorn at 22nd with 576 points from just 3 events, including a win, must mean promotion beckons in 2023.

Next up is Mel Moore in 44th place with 232 points from just two events, hopefully a few more events in 2023 will see her climb up the rankings.

Just one place behind in 45th place is Master Susan Templeton with 231 points from 4 events. Ranked number 1 in Master 65 Ladies.

Tasmeen Khatra is in 48th place with 200 points from just one event, hopefully a few more events in 2023 could result in another promotion.

in 56th place is Fleur Harman who collected 150 points from just one race, waiting to see what happens in 2023.

Men’s Division 3 K1

Our highest ranking Division 3 paddler is Hudayfa Hadjali, who finished the season in 4th place with 991 points, just one event short of getting promoted, expect something early in 2023.

Coming in at 43rd is Meshach Lewis, who only did three events, but collected 506 points, including podium finishes, looking likely for early promotion in 2023.

Ranked 60th in Division 3 Men’s with 375 points K1 is the ever young Richard Davis, he also won the Masters over 85 League (yes over eighty-five years old).

David Spikings is ranked 71st with 283 points, including a win at his final outing of the season. He is also ranked 14th in the Masters over 55 League.
