Southall Super Sprints 2026

Everybody welcome, all boats and standards. The races will be free to enter and will be held over 200m and 500m on the canal at Southall, UB2 4GG. Access to Three Bridges School via the footbridge from Havelock Road.

The Southall Super Sprints are for all standards, it is a fun event, to get people racing, we will have Racing Boats available and there will be General Purpose boats for those who are not yet confident in racing boats. The timed races will enable paddlers to see how they are doing against their previous times (or future times if this is your first event).

The races start at 3:30, after School, they are open to everyone, we will remain onsite till 6pm, so if you can’t make it till later, you will still be timed and have a result on our rankings.

This is part of our Summer Sprint Series, with future races on:

  • Thursday 30th July at 3:30pm
  • Thursday 27th August at 3:30pm
  • Thursday 24th September at 3:30pm

We have a trophy for the best Primary School and in 2025 it was won by Three Bridges and are looking for a donation or sponsor for a High School Trophy.

While all our events are fun and that is an essential ingredient of all activity, we want to encourage more people to become regular paddlers with us, either through our Club Sessions, or through our linked schools sessions. going our growing number of paddlers racing at a variety of fun events in the UK and beyond.
