Harlesden Autumn Sessions
Mondays and Wednesdays at 5pm We are going to restart our Harlesden session on Monday 18th September at 5pm. They will be open to anybody and will cost £6 per person, we accept cash, card, PayPal, or a bank transfer. We will be introducing more sessions in the following weeks.

Meet at the Bridge by Three Bridges School We meet on the green at Havelock Road alongside the green at UB2 4GG at present there are no facilities here other than boat storage in Three Bridges School.
Impromptu Race Results
NW10 We decided t hold a race on Sunday morning with those who turned up for our first Sunday Session at NW10, part of our plan to expand and build a great racing team suitable for all abilities.

Royal Marathon Report – June 2021 Shark paddlers were on top form on Sunday at the Royal Marathon, at Teddington, after an absence for Marathon racing for over 18 months, The Sharks are back!
We are Back Marathon Racing! This Sunday sees a team of Sharks head over to Royal Canoe Club at Twickenham to race Marathon, many of the paddlers will be racing for the first time.

To all our Staff The past few months have been a trying and testing time for all of us, The Sharks were up and paddling within days of the lockdown lifted at first with experienced paddlers and then gradually introducing other socially distanced sessions.
Pushing Yourself to the Limit Long Distance Racing in canoes and kayaks takes a number of forms, but it is exhilarating, tactical, fun and rewarding. At entry level races are just a few kilometres on flat water.

In the year’s Thameside I race Sharks’ Coach Tristram Turner was in action at the weekend in the Thameside I race from Aldermaston to Reading a distance of 12 miles and has twelve portages.
Marathon Round up
Results We have had some action over the past couple of weeks. We had our own min-marathon on Tuesday during half-term, Nicole Dosanjh, paddled 3.2k in a time of 22:54.81 and then after a five minute rest went and did the 1.5k course in 10:26.35.
Well Done Nicole
Great Result at Elmbridge Ten-year-old Nicole Dosanjh took part in her first major competition at the weekend, in the London and South East Hasler Race at Elmbridge on the River Thames, the event is part of the National Falser Competition for Canoe Marathon.
Small Beginnings The Open House Weekend events organised by OPDC (Old Oak Common and Park Royal Development Corporation), included two days of canoeing at NW10, Harlesden/Park Royal and was a great weekend, so thanks to everyone involved.

A Brilliant performance from our Coach, Tristram Turner Congratulations to Tristram Turner and his K2 partner Daniel Seaford, on their fantastic performance on the challenging Liffey Descent in the Republic of Ireland.
September Southall Race Results
Mini-Marathons at Havelock The new mini-marathons at Havelock are underway and although a small turn out today there were some good performances and we will keep them going throughout the Winter and by next Spring we will have some star paddlers racing at ranking events.

From Saturday July 27th at Havelock, Southall As part of the London National City Park Festival we ran a canoe race for paddlers attending the event, many of these were local residents, some fro our regular Tuesday Sessions.
Elmbridge Marathon Report – October 2017
A new Team in Marathon Rankings The Sharks are now a ranking marathon club, after entering the Elmbridge Marathon on the River Thames. A small team, our first ever team took to the water to launch The Sharks new programme for 2018.

Battles Bridge Results
For the fourth consecutive year, The Sharks have sent a small team over to the Battles Bridge race in Essex, and for the fourth consecutive year we have brought back trophies.
Amelia Combes wins the Battles Bridge Marathon
AMELIA Combes was crowned first lady and first junior ladies' in the six mile marathon for Hillingdon Sharks Canoe Club.
Outstanding results from the Battles Bridge Marathon this weekend! Well done to Shark paddlers: Adam Stewart (J18), Amelia Combes (J14), Grant Underwood (U23), Johan Kukkohori (J10), and Rod Grundy (Masters), on a fantastic performance.
