Results of February’s Race
After what was some of the heaviest rain we have had, canal levels (including the flow of the weir) were very high, but the sun came out for the race, just a shame so few paddlers.
Jasmin Uhlhorn entered her first marathon and completed the 3.5 mile course in 50 minutes and 28.03 seconds.
Ivijah Campbell-Bryan, completed the 3.5 mile course in a Wild Water Racing boat, in 59:06.
Neal Underwood was acting as escort for the paddlers and took 56:38.13, in a WWR, with a lot of hanging about.
The next mini-marathon will take place on Sunday March 24th (4th Sunday – change from usual day).
