Kurt White, also racing Division 3 for the first time since his promotion at Harefield, showed great consistency be coming third on both days. He now has 126 points and is ranked 110th in Men’s Division 3 K1.

Fleur Harmen completed our team and again was making her first appearance in Division 3 having been promoted at Cardington, she came third on Sunday collecting 150 points and now sits 56th in Ladies’ Division 3 K1.

A big thank you to everybody involved in the event, to our coaches for supporting paddlers at teh event and for coaching throughout the year. One of reasons for our great success this year is the amazing atmosphere at the Club and the sharing and supporting amongst our team.

For those of you who have not been to an event or are not sure if it is for you, it is far more than about canoeing and racing, it is about friendship and fun. On Sunday Kurt was barbequing lunch, the Gadhvi family picnicking and sharing their lunch, paddlers supporting each other and just enjoying the day.
