Another Golden Month

With temperatures soaring and Britain facing drought conditions, causing concerns for water flows in rivers and canals, affecting water supplies, wildlife and of course places we can canoe. So far we have not been affected.

Competition

Just the one ranking competition in July, but what a competition! The Sharks struck gold at Shepperton Slalom.

We also held our annual End of Term Sprint event in Southall, details will appear here.

We also helped Staff at Sainsbury’s and Argos, raise money for the Move for Meals Charity, part of Comic Relief, who are hoping to raise £2,500 for the Charity. You can help them my making a donation here, and help children and families across the UK access the nutritious food they need to learn, grow and thrive!

We started our Summer programmes at Thamesmead, Southall, Harlesden, and Osterley, as well as working with partners to deliver sessions for other groups.

The starting of our Summer Programmes, does mean we come to the end of our very successful School Sessions at both Harlesden, Southall, and Osterley. We are now working with more schools than ever and have plans on the way for even more.
