Our annual End of Term Schools Race
Delays due to extreme heat, this year’s series has been a bit disrupted, but we still had over 70 youngsters take part, from three local different Schools.

Girls’s J10
Aliana Sulamangi, from Three Bridges Primary School took first place, her time in a Lightning was 1 minute and 27 seconds.
Also from Three Bridges, was May Munnah in second place, she took 1:57.
In Third place and racing in a General Purpose Boat was Rusain Abdullah (Three Bridges), her time was 2:53.
Boys’ Under 10
A Three bridges’s paddler was top of the pile, with Harvey Ria, racing in a Lightning finishing with a time of 1:34.
Holy Farm’s, Ezikiel Browe, took second place with a time of 1:44, in a Lightning.
Third place was Engun Ganjeral (3Bs) in a General Purpose Boat, his time 4:20.
Under 12 girls’
First three girls, all racing Lightnings came from Three Bridges School, they were: Ayah in a time of 1:33, Zainab, 2:12, and Sophie S in 2:32.
Top two Girls in GP boats, all came from Wold Fields: Samyitha in 3:03, with Eshal second in a time of 3:05. Third GP boat was Sophie from Three Bridges her time 3:17.
Boys’ J12
The Winner was, Franco Fernades in a Lightning, he attends Three Bridges Primary School and race the 200m in 1:52.
Ryan Zoller, from Three Brides raced in a GP boat and recorded a time of 1:55, also in a GP boat and from 3Bs was Mohammed in 3:09.

We paddle every Tuesday and Thursday at Three Bridges School, use the foot Bridge from Havelock Road, UB2 4GG, we are always open to new members. You can also enjoy some family time on the water at Osterley Park, where we have very stable boats suitable for all standards.
