Another Week, Another Race, Another Medal

Mohammed Bouhassane Mohammed was our only paddler ate Wey Marathon on Sunday, but he was flying taking gold, by 3 minutes and 35 seconds!

The Stilling Basin Slalom

A new race on the Tryweryn Daniel Lomas was in action again at the weekend, taking gold on both days in the Veterans K1 Men’s event, with two year runs on Sunday.

Falcon Oxford Marathon Results 2026

Our First Ranking Marathon of 2026 A small team of Shark paddlers made the trip to Falcon Boat Club on the River Thames at Oxford to take part in their annual Hasler Marathon.

Cardington Slalom June 2026

Results and Medals for Sharks Two days of slalom competition hosted by Viking Kayak Club, with different Sharks attending each day. On the Saturday there was also the very first Cardington Wavehopper Race, hosted by The Sharks.

The first ever cardington Wavehopper Race On Saturday 20th June The Sharks in partnership with Viking Kayak Club hosted an evening Wavehopper Race, after the slalom competition. With 32 paddlers taking part, a great success. For slalom report click here.

Hurley Hasler Marathon ’26

Sunday 16th August We are still waiting details of this race, but we did attend last year and it was great fun, on a lovely stretch or the River Thames at Hurley. Report from last year can be seen here.

Wey Hasler marathon 2026

Sunday 28th June We are going to Wey Kayak Club’s Marathon Race, are you joining us? This is a great opportunity for paddlers to try a ranking Marathon Race, it is fairly local to both West London and Thamesmead and is suitable for all standards.
