4 more debutants and a lot of fun A small but enthusiastic team were at the September Elmbridge marathon and it was a great day out on the Thames, for paddlers and family.
Another great Langham Farm event Only five Shark Paddlers at this event, which is a great shame as it is a fantastic event, and the Spring Event, was enjoyed by over 20 Sharks! Hopefully we can have a repeat in May 2027.
The Cedric Avery Mini Marathons Yes, our famous Mini-Marathons return to Harefield on Sunday October 25th 2026 and then every last Sunday or the month through to March 28th 2027.
Sunday 27th Another local opportunity for Shark paddlers to race, with an early afternoon start for our paddlers, ensuring easy traveling, so put it in your diary and let’s have a great Shark day out.
A paddling weekend with a difference The Peak Challenge is a three day paddling fest on the Derwent at Cromford Mill, near Matlock, it combines a Wild Water Race, Slalom and Kayak X, alongside come and try it paddling and a host of other activities.
What a month to be on the water! As the blazing heat continued, the best place to be was on the water (or in it) and The Sharks were there to provide the opportunities.
Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September The fantastic Langham Farm Autumn Slalom takes place on the weekend of the 19th and 20the September. It is a ranking Division 3 and Division 4 event and its is a brilliant weekend hosted by Frome Canoe Club. You can enter by clicking here.
