The Legacy WWR – March ’26

Results from the first Legacy Race. The first ever ranking Legacy Wild Water Race took place at the Lee Valley on Saturday 14th March, and what a day it was. It was part of The Sharks WWR Legacy Project and started with practice and development opportunities, that report can be read here.

Our Champions 2025

Wild Water Racing – Prize Giving We collected six national trophies from the Prize Giving event, which was held after the Barrow Race on Saturday. Congratulations to all the winners, and well done to anybody who takes part, challenging yourself, aiming to get better, let’s see what 2026 brings forward.

Sharks taking a step up Congratulations to Ivijah Cambell-Bryan and Sam Press who took part in the Wild Water Training weekend at Nottingham’s Holme Pierrepont White Water Course at the Weeknd. The sessions followed the Legendary Barrow Race on the River Soar.

Barrow Results – March 2026

The Series Finale After a Winter of disruption, the final race of the series, provided for the perfect race conditions, a good flow, no Pennywort, and even some sunshine, this was reflected in two personal best times for Shark paddlers.

The Season has started Well done to Jannik Petersmann who made his Sharks debut at the weekend racing in Men’s K1 Veteran Division at the Lee Valley Division 1 event and to Daniel Lomas who raced on Sunday in the Veterans K1 Men’s event.
