Monday Evenings We are launching our racing Section at Thamesmead on Monday June 1st 2026, this will be an addition session to our weekly programme for those who want to race, it will include Marathon, Sprint and Wild Water Racing.

Another Event, Another Medal

Daniel Lomas at Cardiff Bay Daniel Lomas claimed another podium finished at the weekend, coming second in the Veterans Men’s K1 event.

Thank You Asda

£500 donation to support Harlesden Asda Stores have donated £500 to The Sharks to support our Harlesden Programme, the money is used to keep the cost of community paddling down, enabling us to deliver more sessions to local people.

A review April was a very busy month in Sharkland as we relaunched our Summer Programmes.

Thamesmead 2k Results – May 2026

The racing begins … We launched our racing section at Thamesmead on Saturday 2nd May 2026, with a 2k race for all comers. The idea was to welcome existing paddlers back to action, to get them try out new boats (racing boats) and to launch our new racing section.

Southmere Mini Marathon

Saturday 2nd May 2026 – 11am A free race to anyone who wants to take part, any boats welcome, the race is about 3.5k, which is a great introductory distance for juniors who want to start racing, also great for adults who want to have some fun, and start racing.
