Beginners Course at Harefield
New for August 2021 We will be running a new course at our base at Troy Lake, Harefield, for the Summer Holidays during August every Monday at 1pm. The course is aimed at new members and will teach you the basics and introduce you to the various competitive disciplines and boats we have.

Another First Placed Shark at Shepperton Aaron Nolan now has to race just once more to ensure his early return to Division 2, having taken first place at Shepperton on Sunday by a staggering 6.3 seconds.
Llandysul June 2021 – Results
Richard I Our Slalom Coach Rick Moore was in fine form at the weekend winning the Veterans K1 Race at Llandysul on Both Saturday and Sunday and claiming top spot in the National Rankings.
At Llandysul This Weekend Slalom Coach, Rick Moore, is in action this weekend racing Veteran’s Men’s K1 at Llandysul and also Canoe Doubles with Richard Cromer.
Sheperton Slalom June 2021
Division 3 and 4 Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th Shepperton Slalom Canoe Club are hosting a Division 3 and 4 Slalom on the weekend of 19th and 20th at their site at Shepperton Weir.

Sundays and Wednesdays With the return of outdoor sports being allowed from 29th march 2021, The Sharks are resuming our Slalom Sessions at Harefield starting on Wednesday 31st March 2021, with a second session each week on Sundays.

Distances from Coppermill Lock Paddling distances from the lock, also include portages round other locks, the distances also work for healthy walks, runs and jogs, as well as cycling.If you are locked to the land, Harefield provides opportunities to venture away from the towpath and go round the lakes.
Countryfile comes to Harefield
And more specifcally to The Sharks The Sharks are entering into a partnership with the Colne Valley Regional Park, to help clear Floating Pennywort from the Colne Valley and the BBC’s Countryfile Programme were interested to know all about it.

All Club Facilities Closed until further notice. The announcement by the Government of a further national lockdown has meant that we are legally required to close all or our facilities.
You are not Alone, you don’t need to be Alone We have a solution, we have set up a WhatsApp group called Paddle Pal, where you can make arrangements to paddle with someone in keeping with current Covid-19 restrictions regulations.

We are Back – Again!
Yes, We are Paddling Again – Are YOU? The Sharks are back paddling again after Lockdown 2.0, we were back in action on Saturday 5th December at Southall and NW10 and on Sunday 6th December at Harefield.
Return to Wild Water Racing
Wild Water Racing The Sharks are planning to restart Wild Water Racing Session at Harefield in January on Monday evenings at 6pm, meeting at Tory Lake.

A Great Weekend For Shark Paddlers! First of all a big Thank-you to everyone who made this event possible, it was another great land mark in The Shark story. It was the 4th slalom we have hosted at Harefield and the 7th slalom we have hosted (having done 3 at Shepperton).

Hillingdon Gazette – 19th November 2016 - SWISS international wild water racing paddler Alistair Smortit made his debut for The Sharks, who train in Harefield, in the 3k men's kayak singles at Barrow-on-Soar on Saturday.
