The Season has started

Well done to Jannik Petersmann who made his Sharks debut at the weekend racing in Men’s K1 Veteran Division at the Lee Valley Division 1 event and to Daniel Lomas who raced on Sunday in the Veterans K1 Men’s event.

Jannik came 7th in Saturday’s race, and 8th on Sunday picking up 30 points on each day, after the first event. He is ranked 8th in the UK.

Daniel Lomas only raced on Sunday 1st March, but what a race, storming in at 2nd place, picking up 667 points. He is currently ranked 7th in the UK.

Also a mention to Allen Tyler of the Thursday Silver Surfers Club, who came 4th on both days.

Well done guys, great way to kick the 2026 Slalom Season off, a challenging course to start the year off on.
