An August Month!
A very good month for paddling The weather in August was patchy, but the attendance at Shark activities was defiantly not, we were involved in a lot of sessions with partner groups across our sites, delivery Summer holiday activates for people of all ages.
Summer in Southall
Holiday Sessions in Soiuthall During the Summer holidays, we held a number of sessions at Southall, some for Let’s Leap Holiday Club, some in partnership with Canal and River Trust, and our own Club sessions.
Southall Come and Try it
Wednesdays 12:30pm – 2:30pm Working in Partnership with Canal and River Trust, we will be running some FREE come and try it sessions at Southall’s Havelock Road near Three Bridges School on teh last two Wednesdays in August.
Canal and Pool Sessions During Half-term holiday, The Sharks worked with local partners to ensure people had access to affordable fun on the water, Working with both Horsenden Primary School and Let’s Leap Sports Academies, we were able to get people active.
London Youth Games 2022
Want To Represent Your Borough – 14th May We would like as many Shark Paddlers as possible representing the Borough the either live in or go to school in. There are sprint races and a slalom event. In the past we have had LYG winners from The Sharks.

Meet at the Bridge by Three Bridges School We meet on the green at Havelock Road alongside the green at UB2 4GG at present there are no facilities here other than boat storage in Three Bridges School.
Another Week, Another 508 people
A new weekly high In the seven days culminating with the Bank Holiday Monday, we had 508 different people coming to try paddling with The Sharks, we had though we had done well with 412!

Sharks Shine on the Thames
Royal Marathon Report – June 2021 Shark paddlers were on top form on Sunday at the Royal Marathon, at Teddington, after an absence for Marathon racing for over 18 months, The Sharks are back!
We are Back Marathon Racing! This Sunday sees a team of Sharks head over to Royal Canoe Club at Twickenham to race Marathon, many of the paddlers will be racing for the first time.

Mini-Marathons at Havelock The new mini-marathons at Havelock are underway and although a small turn out today there were some good performances and we will keep them going throughout the Winter and by next Spring we will have some star paddlers racing at ranking events.

New Mini-Marathon Results
From Saturday July 27th at Havelock, Southall As part of the London National City Park Festival we ran a canoe race for paddlers attending the event, many of these were local residents, some fro our regular Tuesday Sessions.
