November 2022

Another Fun Month

Despite the more Winterial weather, The Sharks are still active and having fun. We operate and race all year round.

We enjoyed a barbeque at Harefield to celebrate Kurt’s birthday, building a social side to the club is an important part of helping us to grow. Any more ideas of offers to help or organise, please do get in touch: canoeing@thesharks.org.uk or call 07951 770241.

The Sharks returned to Wild Water Racing, with a small team paddling at Barrow-upon-Soar. These races continue through the Winter, so why not join in and have some fun contact us: canoeing@thesharks.org.uk or call 07951 770241.

The Ed Ecclestone award being given to Neal Underwood, on behalf of The Sharks. It is a good feeling to know that what we do at The Sharks, is noticed by others.

Or sessions have been continuing at Greenford Quay, Harefield, Harlesden and Southall through the Winter and will run all year round, so please keep active, for more information please get in touch: canoeing@thesharks.org.uk or call 07951 770241.

As well as what you see there is plenty also going on in the background, making preparations for 2023. One of those will be The Sharks, hosting a Vintage Slalom on the Legacy Loop at the Lee Valley Olympic Centre, at the same time as the World Championships. Want to get involved or want to help, please do get in touch; email slalom@thesharks.org.uk or call 07951 770241.
