Another Fine Race

Just two Shark paddlers at this race, but what great results they had. Liah Boyle winning the under 16s and Neal Underwood winning the over 60s!

Liah Boyle is fast establishing herself in Wild Water Racing, with am 8th place finish overall but significantly top Under 16, her time of 20 minutes 3.76 seconds, over a minute and a half faster than her last race on this course. Liah is now ranked 4th Lady in Kayak in the UK and first Under 16.

Neal Underwood was 12th overall and first Veteran over 60, his time was 15:05.78, he is also closing the gap on some of the paddlers higher up. He is now ranked 4th in Men’s K1 WWR in the UK and top V60!

A post race trip into nearby Loughborough for refreshments.
