Slalom C2 Event At the Sharks at Shepperton Slalom the Sharks ran a C2 challenge for paddlers of different generation, we openly admit the idea came from Sheffield Canoe Club’s Oughtibridge Slalom and it is great fun,

Shepperton Sprint Wild Water Race The Second London Open Sprint Championships took place at Shepperton on Sunday 24th May, a quick dash from Shepperton Weir to the London Side of the River, which was part of the Sharks at Shepperton Triple Challenge Weekend.

Falcon – Oxford Marathon 2026

Sunday 21st June The Sharks are attending the Falcon Canoe Club Marathon on the River Thames at Oxford on Sunday 21st June, the Club has fantastic facilities and it is a great race, so we invite Shark paddlers to join us.

Cardington Slalom – June 2026

Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st June The first Cardington Slalom takes place on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st June 2026, it is a ranking Division 2, 3 and 4 Slalom, so suitable for all our members.

Race Training at Southmere

Every Monday at 5pm Sessions starts at 5pm and cost £6.00 per person per person, as the programme develops we will introduce more oportunities. Please arrive (15 minutes before) so that you are ready to be on the water at 5pm, to maximise the value of the session.

The Sharks are making Headlines The imaginative projects being undertaken by the Sharks are making headlines on other platforms. This is a recognition of what we are doing to promote Activity, Paddle Sport and getting the Community involved.

Athlete Abbey made her WWR debut at Thamesmead and Slalom at Langham Farm. She is a regular paddler at our Thamesmead Base.

Langham Slalom May ’26 Results

A Shiver of Sharks in Somerset Fourteen Sharks were racing at Langham Farm on the weekend in the Slalom and Wild Water Race event, hosted by Frome Canoe Club.

Osterly – Paddling in the Park

Our Osterley park sessions are up and running Come and enjoy paddling in the scenic surrounds of Osterley Park. This is a totally safe environment, we use Sit-on-Top Kayaks, which are very stable, you sit on them, not in them and they are easy to paddle, even for first timers.

2 Days, 2 races at HPP A festival of slalom canoeing on Nottingham’s artificial slalom course took place last weekend, with an event at every level from Premier to Division 4 taking place, utilising different stretches of water at the Holme Pierrepont National Water Sports Centre.
