Anyone for racing?

This is a great race to start paddling Wild Water, it is a flowing river, no rocks or big waves, but it is twist and is about 3k (2 miles) long. Most paddlers complete the course between 15 and 20 minutes. The race starts from where the River Soar leaves the canal on the right of the picture and finishes at the Boat House. There are no drops, no weirs to shoot and no rough water. It is ideal for anybody who can paddle 3k. So let’s have a big team of Sharks there.

The race site is about 110 miles and should take just over two hours, post code is LE12 8PN.

Cost of entries is £6 for seniors and £3 for juniors (under 18). Fuel cost to be shared, but should be about £10 per person. The race starts at 11am, check in from 9:30am, we will need to leave Sac at about 8am.
