Divisions 2, 3, & 4 18th & 19th June This could be another great Club weekend, suitable for all our slalomists! It is a really nice event run by Viking Kayak Club and is about a sixty mile Drive from Harefield.
Langham Farm, Frome A Shiver of Sharks are expected at Langham Farm this weekend, for the Division 3 and 4 Slalom, We wish them and everyone else taking part good luck and lots of fun.
New Sessions at Horsenden and Greenford Quay The Sharks are starting new sessions at Greenford Quay in June 2022, we will also be working in partnership with Horsenden School to enable people to try kayaking in their pool first.
Congratulations Aditya and Nicole We had two paddlers racing in the London Youth Games this year and both made the finals. Well done guys, we are looking for paddlers for next year, why not you?
Rick winning again Rick Moore, was again winning gold, this time in canoe doubles with Richard Cromer at Symonds Yat.
Another podium finish for Rick Moore in the Veterans K1 Slalom at Cardiff Bay on the Bank Holiday weekend.

Division 4 Slalom Report A great day of fun in the sun at the Nene in Northampton, to new paddlers and a couple of prize winners.
Tuesdays from 5pm Summertime sessions begin on Tuesday from 5pm for beginners and less experienced and at 6:15 for Race boat paddlers. It is time to get re-activated!
At Horsenden Primary School A new partnership is beginning between The Sharks and Horsenden Primary School in North Greenford, today we had a trial run at using kayaks in their pool, and we think it was a great success.

Monday and Thursday From 5pm We have a new Summer Timetable at Harlesden Canalside; from Monday 25th April, beginners sessions will start at 5pm and then we will have experienced paddlers from 6:15pm.

April 2nd and 3rd The Shepperton Division 2 Slalom takes place on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd of April 2022. A convenient and local slalom for all our Division 2 paddlers, other paddlers could enter the Officials event, Division 3 paddlers can paddle up.
Rick Rides the Wave The Division one Slalom at Shepperton at the weekend provided the ideal slalom conditions, big water and sunshine and our Slalom Coach, Rick Moore was there to make the most of it.

Want To Represent Your Borough – 14th May We would like as many Shark Paddlers as possible representing the Borough the either live in or go to school in. There are sprint races and a slalom event. In the past we have had LYG winners from The Sharks.

Sharks in Scotland Grant Underwood is back racing Wild Water and was in action at the Fourth Wild Water Race on the River at Stirling.

Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th March 2022 The 2022 ranking slalom season kicks of in March and we are going to Stone for the weekend of Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th March.

Thursday 5:00pm Sessions at Southall now run on a Thursday evening at 5pm. We will commence Saturday sessions as soon as possible, but have a couple of logistical matters we need to clear first.

This is how we did in 2021 As restrictions were lifted we were able to get back to competition, in all we attended 11 events during teh year, most of which were slalom.

A Trio of Promotions Well done to Joe Pawley, David Spikings and John Williams-Kerslake on getting promoted to Men’s’ Division3 Slalom at the Harefield Slalom this weekend.
Another win for Rick As this strange slalom season heads towards its final few races, it has got very exciting at the top of the Veterans League in Men’s K1 Slalom, with our coach Rick Moore in second place with the slimmest of margins, having led for most of the season.

At Rickmansworth Sailing Club Anybody wanting to do a First Aid course the Sailing Club are organising one on 28th May, it will cost £60 for Shark members (usually £110).
