Good Show Just two paddlers made the trip to Bucklers Hard, but their results were amazing.
Back at Barrow
More Shark River Race Action The Sharks were represented at the Barrow-on-Soar Race in Leicestershire, by two paddlers from Loughborough Sharks.
Promotion to Division 2 Slalom Jacob Simpson has won promotion to National Division Slalom Division 2 at the last event 0f the 2018 season, which took place on the River Dart in Devon at the weekend.
October Shepperton Results Two fantastic performances in Division 3 from our paddlers took them both to the verge of promotion to national Division 2 at the weekend’s Shepperton Slalom.
To promotion at Symonds Yat Jacob Simpson took another step closer to promotion to National Division 2 in Men’s K1 slalom at the weekend my getting a fourth place finish (first J16) in the event at Symonds Yat, giving him 200 points.

The Sharks are back
River Racing … A small team of 4 traveled down to Fairthorne Manor on Saturday (6th October) to enter one of the first Wild Water Races of 2018/19 season, it was a Classic Race, of about 1 mile on the river Itchen, just outside Southampton.

James at Lee Valley
Well Done James 21st in the Lee Valley Division 2 Men’s K1 event on Sunday. The event was held on the legacy course of the 2012 Olympic venue, some tricky water.
Autumn on the Lake
Osterley Sessions Changing seasons, give an even greater experience at Osterley Park as the hot Summer turns to Autumn and leave start to turn golden, the views are ever changing. The Sharks session however continue as normal every Saturday and Sunday from noon – 4pm, last boat on the water at 3pm.
Sun, Fun and Some great paddling The Sharks had five paddlers racing at Cardington at the weekend; a great event organised by Viking Canoe Club.
Harefield Slalom Report 2018
A Great Weekend For Shark Paddlers! First of all a big Thank-you to everyone who made this event possible, it was another great land mark in The Shark story. It was the 4th slalom we have hosted at Harefield and the 7th slalom we have hosted (having done 3 at Shepperton).
July Shepperton Results
Shark Paddlers on the way up A small team of paddlers attended the division 3 and division 4 event at nearby Shepperton and Shark paddlers were amongst the medals.
James at HPP
Holme Pierrepont Results James Read, was racing in division 2 Men’s K1 slalom at the weekend on the Holme Pierrepont artificial slalom course at the National Watersports Centre in Nottingham. This site has been used for international events and is on very challenging water.
Canoeing For All
Our Barn and The Sharks A great time for all when The Sharks and Our Barn came together for an evening’s canoeing at the National Trust‘s Osterley Park.
Now You See It Now You Don’t
Well Done and Thanks A great job done today by the team of volunteers, clearing the site for our new boat house at Rickmansworth Sailing Club in Harefield.

London to Brighton Cycle Ride Well done to Shark members Grant Underwood and Jose Narvaez, who cycled the 54 miles from London to Brighton in the annual cycle ride to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
Bala Mill Results 2018
James at Bala James Read was the only Shark paddler racing at Bala Mill Slalom at the weekend, racing in both Men’s Division 2 K1 and Division 3 Men’s C1.
Well Done Sharks Paddlers
Another Great Event at Cardington Shark paddlers were in action at Cardington at the weekend (9th & 10th June), and it was a great event with some good results. Thanks to Viking Kayak Club.
Sharks at Shepperton – Report
Well Done Sharks! The Sharks hosted the first of their two slaloms this year at Shepperton at the weekend and although numbers were not as high as we hoped; there were some fantastic results for Shark paddlers.

First Aid Training Session
Ensuring Safety Standards On Saturday 24th March, several Shark Staff attended an Emergence First Aid course arranged specifically for Shark Staff.
Shepperton Slalom Results – March 2018
Good Start James James Read has got the 2018 slalom season off to a start with two races at Shepperton Division 2 slalom at the weekend.
