Sharks host weekend family paddling at Osterley Park

From Saturday 4th June The Sharks will be paddling at Osterley Park on both Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Starting at 12 noon: with sessions every 45 minutes and cost just £5 per person.

IMG_2112You can just turn up on the day, but to avoid disappointment, book a slot by email: osterley@thesharks.org.uk or by calling 07816  045212. We have individual kayaks and family canoes. We provide all the kit you need. Minimum age id five-years-old, there is no maximum age. Paddlers under eighteen-years-old must wear a buoyancy aid provided by The Sharks, over eighteens have their own discretion, but e do have buoyancy aids of all ages.

Osterley Park is a National Trust property, located near Heston in the London Borough of Hounslow (who support this project). There is parking on site, which is free to National Trust members, and only cost £5 a month and not only enables you to park free at Osterley but gives you access to all other National Trust properties. There is some free on-street parking nearby.

From Wednesday 8th June The Sharks will be running an after School Club at Osterley Park, every Wednesday from 4pm. For more information contact Neal on 07951 770241 or email: canoeing@thesharks.org.uk. The sessions will cost £5 and will be an hours taught lesson, with progression onto other sections, such as Slalom, Sprint, Wild Water Racing or Canoe Polo.
