We are going for a day of fun and competition to the Kingsland Basin Division 4 slalom on Saturday 14th May.
The mini-bus will be leaving SAC at 9am, paddlers must be there by 8:45 if they wish to travel by bus. Alternatively you can travel by train to Haggerston Station and we will have all the kit there for you
This is an ideal entry event for those just taking up the sport, it is in flat water in a totally safe environment and is a lot of fun.

The event starts at 11am, with practice from 9:30 am, the vent should be all over by about 4pm.

Costs:
Entry fees are £5 per person for single events K1 and C1 (you can enter both), However there is a £3 discount for entering a second event (so if you race K1 and C1 you pay £7). I would like everybody who goes to also race C2 (the club will pay for the C2 entry).
- There is a boat charge of £3 per person (you only pay one charge even if you use more than one boat)
- For those travelling in the mini-bus there will also be a £3 charge towards fuel and up keep.
Some of you paddled there last year and had a lot of fun and The Sharks did particularly well, picking up a number of medals and promotions. It would be a great way to get back into paddling for the 2016 season.
