New Marathon Paddlers to Debut

The Sharks are hoping to have three new Marathon paddlers making their debut on Sunday in an event at Elmbridge on the River Thames all under the age of ten!

Our hopefuls are:

Nicole, who attends Featherstone Primary School, she started paddling with their after school club and has been with us for about a year, she has entered a couple of our local Havelock and NW10 races . She has shown great character and is never put off by a bit of poor weather.

Camila’s first experience of canoeing was as part of Three Bridges Primary School’s core curriculum PE lessons earlier this year. From there she started attending regular Shark Sessions, has taken part in a couple of local races in Havelock.

Alistair, who attends Havelock Primary School, started with The Sharks this year as part of our partnership with Catalyst Housing, now a regular on Tuesdays at Southall he too has raced in our local races.
