Sharks in Wales

A small team of Shark paddlers went west to Wales to enjoy a weekend at Llandysul River Festival, which included a Division 2, 3 and 4 slalom.

Ivijah Campbell-Bryan took 7th place (third J14) in Saturdays event and 5th place in Sundays event, collecting 394 points for the Weekend. He is currently ranked 7th in Nations Division 3 K1 Men.

Semir Ahmed, one of or couches at Thamesmead came 5th on Saturday and 11th on Sunday, he added 692 points to his tally this year.

In Division 4 K1 Men’s Zak Ahmed came 13th on Saturday out of a very large field and 10th on Sunday, whilst his mum, Amina Adewusi came 5th on Saturday and 3rd on Sunday.

In the Mens C1 Veteran event Rick Moore took second on Saturday and first on Sunday, giving hime 923 points, he is ranked 8th in the Country.
