Details for those taking part

Paddlers need to be on the water at 10:30am, you have to paddle to the start, which is 1 mile up stream, this will be done as a group with everybody paddling up together. You will then race down at minute intervals.

You can race in Composite Wild Water Race Boats, Wavehoppers, Slalom Boats of Banana Boats, your choice. However; Buoyancy Aids and Helmets must be worn, as must canoeing shoes. It is recommended that Spray Decks are also worn.

We need to know who is going and what boats you require, so please email neal@thesharks.org.uk, so we can ensure we get the right kit there for you.

The location is SO30 2GH, traveling time is estimated to be about 1 hour 40 minutes. You need to be there at 10am the latest. We can go from The Coy Carp in Harefield and minimise cars, if people wish, but please do let us know if you need to car share.
