Athlete Richard Davis has a long history of racing in the UK and beyond, at 87 years old, the oldest slalom paddler in teh UK, probably the World, he is still competing in National Division 3 Slalom, where is ranked 46th and top Master over 85.

Athlete and Race Organiser A paddler with a lot of experience now in Division 3 slalom, races Wild Water and Marathon, and organises our Southern Serries Wild Water Races, based in Hampshire.

Final Slalom Rankings 2024

7 new paddlers added to The Shark Team Due to weather issues, many events did not run or were curtailed, this has obviously affected the national rankings in Slalom, but we still managed to get 7 new paddlers racing Slalom in 2024, bringing our total to 19 paddlers racing this year.

Athlete Khaleel has maintained his position of The Sharks top ranked slalom paddler for the fourth consecutive year.

Athlete In 2024 Liah became The Sharks top female slalom paddler having come 19th in Ladies Division 3 K1 with 417 points from just 3 events. She is also ranked 95th under 16 in the UK. In 2023 she was Ranked 12th in the UK Ladies K1 Wild Water Racing and second Under 16.
