Athlete and Slalom Coach at Harefield Rick leads our Slalom Team based at Harefield, he is a very experienced paddler and still competes, racing Veteran K1 Men’s Slalom and was the runner up in the 2021 this year he is currently in 12th place with 2588 points in Men’s K1.
Athlete Ranked in 37th place in National Division 3 in 2023 Ladies Slalom K1, Fleur is also races Wild Water. Not raced in kayaked in 2024, but has spent the Summer doing Triathlons to raise money for charity.
Athlete Alistair made his Slalom Debut for The Sharks at Langham Farm in April 2023, coming 11th in his first event. Now ranked in Division 3, he managed just one event in 2024, and is ranked 89th.
Athlete Jasmin is our second top ranked slalom paddler in 2024, she was ranked 26th in Ladies’ K1 Division 3. She also is a regular feature in our Wild Water Racing team.
Teacher, Coach, Athlete Aaron is currently ranked in Division 2 for Slalom Men’s K1, although not raced for a couple of years, he is one of our teachers and coaches, looking forward to seeing you race again soo.
Athlete Adam has recently returned to racing wit The Sharks Wild Water Racing Team at Barrow in October, where he took top Shark spot. He has also race Sprint and Marathon in the past and is looking forward to 2025.
Another of our older generation of paddlers, who races with the Itchen Valley Shark contingent. Danny finished 2024 ranked 36th in the Veterans Men’s K1 League with 712 points
