Next Barrow Race – Saturday The next Barrow Race is on Saturday 7th December and starts at the earlier time of 10am.

Harefield WWR Results – Nov ’24

River Racing Back at Harefield November 30th marked the return of Wild Water Racing to Harefield when The Sharks hosted the first Regional Ranking WWR at Harefield for a while and although we need to grow the event, it was a great day of fun and racing for those who did turn up!

Athlete Arjun raced for the first time in the Mini-Marathon at Harefield in November.

Athlete Another of our new Wild Water Racers, who joined our team at Barrow in October, coming 35th.

Athlete Another paddler who raced his first event at Cardington in August 2024, coming 18th in Men’s K1 Division 4 and second senior.

Anny Schwietzke

Athlete Anny joined our slalom team at Cardington in August 2024, where she came 12th over all in Division 4 Ladies’ K1, she was third senior paddler.

Alex Aldred

Teacher Alex made it to Division 1 slalom and has joined our teaching team, to help bring on the next generation of paddlers.

Fleur Harman

Athlete Ranked in 37th place in National Division 3 in 2023 Ladies Slalom K1, Fleur is also races Wild Water. Not raced in kayaked in 2024, but has spent the Summer doing Triathlons to raise money for charity.

Ally Judge

Athlete Ranked 46th in Ladies’ Division 3 slalom in 2024, having completed one event. Second ranked Lady in M40 age group.
