Our annual challenge in Southall We have set up a series of Sprint evenings in Southall, running in the Summer moths to give everyone the chance to see how they are progressing, to have some fun and enjoy racing. Great for spectators too.

Southall Sprints Final 2025

Who is Southall’s fastest Racer? With the conclusion of the inaugural Southall Super Sprints with the final race of the season taking place on third Thursday in October, (16th), we now know who has won the series medals.

Harlesden GS October 2025

Preparing for Marathon This year The Sharks have introduce the GS (Geoff Saunders) series of mini-marathons at Harlesden, to help prepare youngsters for Marathon Racing.

Free Sessions at Thamesmead

This Autumn Half-Term The Sharks, working with Peabody Trust are delivering FEE kayaking and canoeing sessions this half-term and they are open to everyone, families are particularly welcome.

Back at the Barrow

New Series, New paddlers, same fun The new Barrow Series has started and The Sharks had a team there on what was not the best racing conditions thanks to Storm Amy! Very strong winds made conditions difficult so full credit to the paddlers for getting down the 3.5k course.

Going Up

October Shepperton Results Congratulations to Ivijah Campbell-Bryan and Semir Ahmed on gaining promotion in canoe slalom to Divisions 2 and 1 respectively. Liah Boyle also took a third place in the women’s event and Rick Moore a third in the Veterans K1 Men.

We Stand Together

Against Hatred, Bigotry, & Prejudice On Saturday 4th October The Sharks had teams at Barrow-Upon-Soar Wild Water Race and Shepperton Canoe Slalom. We are proud to stand together against Prejudice, against Bigotry, and against Hatred.

The Great Harlesden Canoe Race 2025

The Charity Race of the year The second Great Harlesden Charity Canoe Race took part on Wednesday 24th September, raising money for local charities, the Brent Food Bank and Queens Park Rangers Community Trust. Both these charities support local people.
