It was a big year for The Sharks as the club took the next big step towards establishing itself as a major club in Britain.

We have been well supported by many organisations, with whom we have established long-term partnerships that are going to see The Sharks go from strength to strength. Our objective is to be the biggest and best Canoe Club in Britain; we define the best as giving more people the opportunity to paddle, by enabling all participants to achieve their full potential!

Please take a look at the following pages; your comments and contributions are always welcome by emailing: canoeing@thesharks.org.uk.

hpp1504adamunicycleWhilst the Club has a serious competitive side, we also want to create a fun atmosphere where everybody is welcome, where people can come along and have a good time; we are interested in recreation paddlers as well as competitive paddlers. People who have never paddles before, but want to give it ago.

We provide all the kit at all levels, so cost is never a barrier to participation.

We believe that if people are to succeed, then it must be a good atmosphere where people are having fun and enjoying themselves and feel part of the team.
