River Hamble 2019

Wild Water Race Saturday 16th November

Slide1

This is a two mile classic Wild Water Race on the River Hamble, near Southampton (SO31 7HP). It is on tidal water and can be interesting, about a 2 hour drive and starts at 1pm. The Hamble is part of the Southern series of Wild Water Races and is supported by The Sharks.

The race is 2 miles (3k) on an estuary river, you race down with the tide as it goes out. It is not suitable for novices, but is suitable for paddlers who have raced before. The race can be done in Wild Water Racers or Wavehoppers.
