The Sharks net a host of trophies in British Canoe Union event

Canoe Slalom

Sharks in the water sounds dangerous – and it was for the opponents of the club of the same name at the weekennd.

The canoe slalom outfit with centres in Southall, Osterley and Hillingdon, and hopefully soon at Hayes and Ruislip, netted a host of trophies in the latest British Canoe Union round of races.

Tallulah Lacey, Amelia Combes and Lianna Nolan took first place.

Ten-year-old Johan Kukkori, entering his first slalom, came fifth in the Men’s K1 and second in the Junior 10.

In the Division Three ladies K1, Lianna Nolan was second on aaturday but in Sunday’s event she was clear winner. Her brother Aaton Olan was second in Sunday’s Mens Division Three with James Reed taking third.
