Monday Evenings
We are launching our racing Section at Thamesmead on Monday June 1st 2026, this will be an addition session to our weekly programme for those who want to race, it will include Marathon, Sprint and Wild Water Racing.
Sessions will start at 5pm and will be aimed at getting people into racing boats from Juniors to Seniors, as the programme develops we will have different sessions at different times according to ability.

The sessions will take place at or Thamesmead base on Southmere Lake The Sharks Water Sports Centre, Bazalgette Way, SE2 9TX.
The Cost will be £6 per person, we will be introducing a Club Membership Scheme to keep the cost down for regular paddlers, although we will always have a pay-as-you-go option for those who are unable to commit to regular payments.
So far we have hosted a number of events and now we want to get paddler racing at other places, so come along join the find and see where the adventure takes you.
Although these sessions will include an introduction to racing, we will be using racing boost and recommend people attend our Tuesday and/or Thursday sessions if you have never paddled before.
