Greenford Quay Sessions

Monday and Wednesday from 4pm

New sessions start at Greenford Quay, UB6 0FT, from Monday 13th June, with after-school club at 4pm (school aged children only) and open session at 5pm for all ages (families welcome).

We meet at the Elsdale, moored on the canal at Greenford Quay, sessions cost £6 per person (if you do two sessions a week £10 for the two). For more information, or too book a place please call 07951 770241 or email: greenford@thesharks.org.uk.

There will be sessions for all ages at Greenford Quay and we will work with Horsenden Primary School and host introductory pool sessions during School Holidays.

This programme is still being developed, but we are starting with the following timetable and intentions:

Monday and Wednesday

Start times are the time we expect people to be ready to get on the water, so please do arrive in plenty of time. Lessons will be about 50 minutes.

4pm – 5pm – After School Club for children of school age only.

5pm – 6pm – Sessions for all ages, families and adults welcome as well as youngsters.

6pm – experienced paddlers, we will be using racing boats for these sessions, once we have paddlers ready to this. This is part of our development plan to provide the opportunity for people to take part in competitive canoeing.

The cost will be £6 per session, and £10 if you attend both sessions in a week.

We will be looking at adding in weekend sessions and general recreation sessions. For more information, please call 07951 770241 or email: greenford@thesharks.org.uk.
