Ambitious Sharks unveil their new coach

The West London based Sharks Canoe Club have appointed Beata Fabińska, a former Polish National Champion to lead their coaching staff in their ambition simply to be the best Canoe Club there is!

The Club aims to be the largest participation club in the Country, getting as many people out enjoying being on the water as possible, whatever their age! However, the Club also wants to enable people who want to, to take part in competitions and to be able to reach their full potential and help the Club become ranked as Britain’s number one for both participation and competitiveness.

Later this year The Sharks will launch their Canoe Polo team at Hillingdon Leisure Centre. The Sharks currently hold sessions at Harefield on Mondays and Thursdays, The Outdoor Pool at Hillingdon Leisure Centre on Tuesdays, and at Southall on Wednesdays and Saturdays. After Easter, they will be adding sessions at Osterley Park and in Hayes Town amongst other local places.

Speaking after taking her first sessions Beata said “Kayaking is a very serious in Poland and it is my life, so to be able to come and work for a club that has such ambition as The Sharks is simply wonderful. There is a lot of talent here and I am sure that we can build the greatest club ever and have lots of fun along the way”.
