Matlock Division 2/3 Slalom – ’26

18th and 19th of April

Who wants to paddle at Matlock? it is one of the nicest slalom locations in England, set in the town of Matlock Bath, the river runs through the town centre along the road, providing excellent views of the course. To enter, click here.

The course is on the naturally flowing River Derwent in the scenic Derbyshire Dales and is well worth visiting. There is no camping facilities on site, although there are campsites nearby and there is also the bunk house at Willersley Castle Cromford Mills, which in themselves are worth a visit. It is a really great family weekend.

We have paddled there before and can highly recommend it. The event is on both Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th April, of both Division 2 and Division 3 Slalom. Our ranking paddlers are listed here. If you have raced in Division 4, talk to our coaches at our regular slalom sessions on Sundays at Harefield, as you maybe able to be promoted to Division 3.
