Apply for Your Slalom Bib

From today Sunday January 18th, you can apply for your slalom bin if you are in Division 3 or above.

To apply for your bib, click here. All Division 3 paddlers and above must have a bib to race, and to get a bib you need a current Paddle UK membership, which you can apply for here. We recommend all or paddlers join Paddle UK, as it helps to support or sport. For details of Slalom Canoeing, go the website and for you bib number click on Bibs and your division and calss.

Entry level paddlers are permitted to race for The Sharks, with our associate membership, so you can try the disciplines before you buy membership. If you are not a Paddle UK member and want to enter a Division 4 event, please email us at: caneoing@thesharks.org.uk, with your full address and Date of Birth, we can then issue you with an associate membership number.

Last year we had 13 ranked paddlers, our objective for 2026 is to double that to at lease 26, so get yourself down to Harefield on Sunday mornings and get ready to race. We had 17 race in division 4 (entry level) so to get 13 of those promoted shouldn’t be that difficult. But obviously we need to add more people at entry level to keep growing, so we need you to find at least 26 friends, family, colleagues, or anyone at all, to join us and take The Sharks to the next level.
