Winter Slaloms, get ready for 2026
The annual Stone Mini Slaloms take place on the Sundays of January 25th, February 8th, and February 22nd, including a slalom cross event on January 25th.

The Mini Slaloms are hosted by Stafford and Stone Canoe Club and cost £8 to enter and are suitable for all slalom paddlers from all divisions.
Entries will open in the New Year and you can enter online here. Theses are great events, to hone you slalom skills ready for the new season, get some competition experience whatever division you are in.
It is open to all Divisions and classes and is a handicap system, meaning anyone could take the overall race win. As well as the overall winner there are prizes for Class and Divisions too. If you compete in all three races we also have a series winner too.
Stone Slalom site is at Stafford and Stone Canoe Club, Westbridge Park, Stafford Rd, Stone ST15 8QW.

Stafford & Stone Canoe Club have first class facilities, with warm changing rooms with showers, relax in the club house and enjoy some fantastic hot food, provided by their dedicated kitchen team. Hot breakfast baps in the morning to pasta and jacket potatoes with choice of topping for lunch. As well as the obligatory none stop tea, coffee and cake all day long!

The Sharks hold Slalom Sessions all year round at our base in Harefield on Sunday mornings at 10:30am. We provide all the kit, you don’t need any previous experience, we teach we coach, and most importantly of all, we have fun. Let your journey begin.
