Another hot month for Sharks

Only one competition in June but a very busy month for the Club as things started to heat up!

A scorcher of a weekend at Cardington saw 9 Shark paddlers take to the water, with a rostrum finish for Semir Ahmed on Sunday.

We also broke the World Record for the oldest team event, with Richard Davis and Neal Underwood teaming up with Shepperton’s Antony Cowderoy, giving them a combined age of 221 +

Away from competition, we were able to restart our Osterley Park sessions, following a suspension due to the appearance of Blue/Green Algae.

Our Thamesmead sessions are going from strength to strength and development plans for this project are gathering pace.

Our regular sessions at Harefield, Harlesden and Southall are all taking place with future improvements being planned to boost numbers and opportunities.
