Oxford Falcon Marathon ’25

Sunday 22nd June

Who wants to race on Sunday, 22nd June, distances from 2 miles for juniors and longer for others; 4 miles up to 12 miles.

Oxford Falcon is a great race on the Thames at Falcon Canoe Club in Oxford, about 50 miles and an hour’s drive from our West London sites.

Ivijah Campbell-Bryan made his marathon racing debut there last year, read the report here. The race is suitable for anybody who can race two miles in a racing boat (under 14s) or 4 miles in a racing boat for those over 14-years-old.

If you are interested in racing this event, please get in touch and we can put an entry in for you, entries cost: £5 for junior races (2 mile races) and £10 for under-18’s in longer races and £12 for adults. Full race details are available here.

The timetable for the day is:

9am checkin for team leaders only.

10:00am Briefing for Divisions 7, 8, and 9, and Junior K2 races.

10:30am start of Division 7, 8, and 9, and Junior K2 races

Noon Briefing for All other starts including Junior K1

12:30 starts for divisions 1 – 6

1:45 start for Junior K1 races.

3pm (approximately) prize giving.
