Another Packed Month
One of our busiest months of the Year, events, teaching and so much more going on.
Events
On Saturday 4th October The Sharks were at two separate events, with 9 paddlers racing Wild Water at the Barrow, including two first timers.

Whilst at Shepperton Slalom, we had 4 paddlers on Saturday and four on Sunday, including promotions.

Being able to support paddlers at separate national events on the same day is a testament to what The Sharks are achieving. Well done to everyone involved and to our coaching staff for getting us to where we are.
Monday 6th October was a quiet night in Harlesden as we ran the final evening race of the GS, Mini Marathons.

On Wednesday 11th of October we had our final Harlesden Hurtle Sprint Series.

The following day, Thursday 16th, it was the final of the Southall Super Sprint Challenge.

Saturday 18th, took us to the fantastic event at the Nene, with another debut in Wild Water Racing. This really was a fun event, if you missed ou this year, make sure you are there at the next one.

Saturday 25th brought us back home to Harefield for the series opener of the Cedric Avery Mini Marathon Series.

A full on teaching programme with in addition to our regular sessions at Harefield, Harlesden, Southall, and Thamesmead, we had 4 schools attending regular sessions.
We also have several more schools interested in paddling with us next year.
During half-term we hosted free holiday sessions at Thamesmead, paid for by Peabody. We can achieve this because of our …
