Final Slalom Rankings 2025

How well did we do this year?

After a scorching hot Summer, we can now reflect and look back on 2025.

Men’s Division 2 K1

for the fourth year running our to paddler is …

Khaleel Ziauddin

He was 51st in the Division 2 rankings, exactly the same place as last year. He collected 590 points from 4 events.

Grant Underwood

Maintained his place as The Sharks’ second ranked paddler in Slalom, his position was 74th, collecting 125 points from just one appearance this season.

Neal Underwood

Was our third best paddler with a Division 2 ranking of 78th with a total of 65 points from just two events. Neal is also ranked the best paddler over 65 in the Country.

Ivijah Campbell-Bryan

Ivijah collected 1,107 points in Division 3, to earn promotion to Division 2, but did not have a chance to race in Division 2 this year. Congratulations Ivijah.

Division 3 K1 Ladies

Our highest ranked female paddler was …

Susan Templeton

She is ranked as second Master over 65, she collected 559 points and is ranked 13th in Division 3.


Liah Boyle

Liah slipped dow from our top paddler, but she did only raced twice and collected 350 points putting her in 21st place, she is also ranked as 126th J18 in the UK.

Jasmin Uhlhorn

Our top paddler in 2023 also slipped down, having made just one appearance this year, she collected 100 points and is now ranked 34th.

Men’s Division 3 K1

Richard Davis – The legend

Our oldest paddler and indeed the oldest ranking paddler in the UK (probably the World) at 87-years-old. he is ranked 47th in Division 3 with a season total of 218 points. He is ranked as the best over 85 in the UK!

Peter Skinner

Peter raced only twice this year, he collected 185 points and is ranked 53rd.

Alistair Gifford Moore

Alistair only managed two events this season where he earned 81 points putting him in 67th place.

Veterans’ K1 Men

Daniel Lomas

Daniel has been racing at some big water events this year and has three first and three second places, giving him a final ranking of 4th with 3,599 points.

Rick Moore

Our slalom coach Rick Moore came 13th with 2,592 points

Danny Dalrymple

Danny came 42nd after collecting 688 points

Veterans’ C1 Men

Richard Moore

Took 9th place in the Canoe Singles event with 923points from just two events.

Canoe Doubles

Grant Underwood and Neal Underwood

A family Partnership came 13th with 676 points

Division 3 C1 Men

Neal Underwood

Neal also raced in Division 3 C1, where he came 15th with 250 points, he was also 3rd in the National Masters over 65 league.

Division 4

We had a dozen new paddlers entering Division 4 events, they are listed here in the order they entered their first event.

Ladies

In addition to the ranking slaloms The Sharks made their first appearance at the Interclubs event at Cardington this year and we hope to make that a permanent fixture from now on.

Thank you to everyone involved, paddlers, coaches, parents, host clubs, and to the slalom committee, without you we would have no sport. Already looking forward to being even better in 2026.
