Results from Mini-Marathon
The weather was not so kind on Saturday 29th November as rain and cold winds reduced the number of participants, but we did welcome Hemel Hempstead Canoe Club back to the series
Girls Under 10
Making her Marathon debut for The Sharks was Charlotte Cemble, who joined us through our partnership with St. Mary’s School in Southall. She raced in the 1.5 mile race (2.4k) and his time was 20 minutes and 12 seconds.
Boys Under 10
Jonathan Cemble, was also racing Marathon for the first time and like his twin sister, he also joined us through our partnership with St. Mary’s School. His time was 21: 34.
Boys Under 12
Mohammed Bouhassane made his first appearance at the Cedric. Avery Mini Marathons and race the 3.5 mile race (5.6k), completing his first ever portage with a time of 43:45. Mohammed now at Elvin Ark Secondary School in Wembley, came to us through ur partnership with Harlesden Primary School.
Veteran Men
Andy Sands from Hemel Hempstead also raced the 3.5 mile race completing the distance in 33:04.
