Wow, What a month!
A scorcher, that was for sure and Britain basked in another heatwave, which as nice and it might be, does affect canoeing as it impacts on water levels.
A lot going on
During August we launched regular holiday Clubs at Thamesmead, this site is still being set up and these sessions are looking towards a bigger programme in 2026.
Regular sessions at Southall for both the Club and our Holiday Club Partners Let’s Leap.
At Harlesden we ran extra Holiday Sessions funded by our partnership with KSP.
Our Slalom sessions continued on Sunday morning at Harefield.
A long weekend away for fun and training at the Peak Paddle Challenge.
Competition
Hurley Marathon saw several paddlers racing including two paddlers new to Marathon and a new K2 crew pairing.
