Anaya joined competitive teams, when she entered the Elmbridge Marathon on May 11th 2025. Now at High School, she first started paddling with The Sharks through our partnership with Three Bridges Primary School.
Anaya took third place (first girl) in her first ever race, which is a huge achievement and we are looking forward to seeing her race regularly in the various disciples we take part in. Her time for the 3.5k race was 27:52. Welcome to the Team Anaya. Watch her first race start here.

Slalom
Anaya raced at The Sharks at Shepperton Slalom in May 2025, taking third place.
Wild Water Racing
Ranked 36th in Ladies K1, 6th J14 and 7th in Mixed C2 with Ezikiel Maqbool, they are also The London Champions for mixed C2 in 2025.
Ranked in 39th place and Second Under 12 with 3,382 points, she came 18th (Third Under 12) in Wavehopper.
Anaya was third in the London Sprint Championships.
Along with Edzikiel Maqbool Anaya basin joint 16th with 2,000 points and were also the Top Under-12 crew in the Country.
They won the London Sprint Championships.
Sprint
Anaya has raced in the Southall Super Sprints in 2025 and won both the 200m (1:16) and 500m (3:27)
