The Sharks are Swimming at Birchmere

The Sharks will be starting regular open water swimming sessions in Birchmere Lake, SE28 8EQ, this Summer, we have yet to finalise the details of this programme, but it will be exciting.

We will initially start with casual public open water sessions at the weekend and then grow the project to include other days and other activities, including lessons, coaching and competitive opportunities.

We want to open the sport up to a wider and more diverse cross section of our community, we want to develop something Thamesmead will be proud of and will be the talk of the Open Water Swimming Community.
