Slalom and Wild Water racing event
Just a small team at this year’s may Langham Farm event, which was run as a more traditional slalom with team events on Saturday and individual events on Sunday. With the addition of a Wild Water Race on Saturday evening.

Slalom Teams
A Shark team of Alistair Gifford-Moore, Ivijah Campbell-Bryan, and Nicolas Bozic, came 16th, whilst an group of paddlers with a combined age of over 200, including Richard Davis, Shepperton’s Antony Cowderoy and Richard Alpin from Poole Harbour Canoe Club came in 17th.
Wild Water Race
Ladies’ K1
Susan Templeton came 7th in a time of 1 minute 04.3 seconds, racing a slalom boat she also qualifies for 1,523 Wavehopper points as well as National Ranking Points. Ranked 42nd in the UK, second V65, and 18th in the Wavehopper League, top V65.
Men’s K1
Grant Underwood took third place with a run time of just 41.8 seconds, earning him 1,841 points. Grant is ranked 26th in the UK.
In tenth place and second under-14, was Ivijah Campbell-Bryan, his time was 55.30, collecting 1,402 points towards his annual total. Ranked 42nd and second J14 in the UK.
Nicolas Bozic raced in a slalom boat and came 12th, this gives him 1,301 points for both Wavehopper and National Ranking leagues. His time was 58.40. Ranked 54th in the UK and second (top J18) in the Wavehopper standings.
Individual Slalom Events
Division 3 K1 Men
Our top paddler in slalom at the weekend was Ivijah Campbell-Bryan who came 4th over all and third J14. this gives him 214 points to his season tally.
Richard Davis, became the oldest ever slalom paddler at the age of 86-years-old, when he took 14th place. A great achievement Richard and an example to others. He collected 95 points.
Division 3 Ladies’ K1
Susan Templeton came tenth and collected 25 points.
Division 4 K1 Men
Nicolas Bozic took 5th place and first J18.
K1 Men’s Veteran event.
Danny Dalrymple was our only veteran racing this weekend and he came 4th, collecting 107 points in the national veterans ranking league.
