Shepperton Div 1 & 2 Slalom - Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th March

The 2011 slalom season kicks off with some big water at Shepperton, a fantastic event which tested the Winter training of many paddlers, lots of swimmers from both div 1 and 2! great cross if you can do it or hard work if you can't. Typical weir slalom. Event organisers Shepperton Slalom Canoe Club, do a great job, onsite camping if you require it and an excellent cafe facility.

The Sharks were there both days with Grant Underwood and Neal Underwood paddling in the Division 2 men's K1 events, Herts Young Mariners had Matt Bishop there on both days and Andrew Skinner on the Sunday. Good paddling under tough conditions, well done to all who were there.
