WWR 2023 Final Positions

Rankings for 2023 Shark Paddlers

The last race of 2023, as happened and therefore we know teh final rankings of our paddlers. Well done to everyone who took part, some very impressive results, for paddlers who have not been racing for long, lets make 2024 even better.

Ladies’ K1

Liah Boyle is our top ranked lady paddler, she came 12th over all and third Junior 16, she led the J16 for much of the season in a tightly packed field, well done Liah, looking forward to 2024.

In 32nd place was Jasmin Uhlhorn, having only raced twice in a Wild Water Racer this year. She is however, top senior in the Wavehopper rankings. Well don Jasmin, hopefully see you at a few more races in 2024?

Susan Templeton was 64th and 2nd V65, she was also top Veteran 0ver 65 in the Wavehopper Rankings, having raced just once in 2023. Well Done Susan

Men’s K1

This year’s top ranked man for the Shark was V60, Neal Underwood, who came 34th over all and was second Veteran over 60, having led the age group all season till the very last race. Well done Neal.

Rick Moore is ranked 94th but only raced one in 2023, hope we see you at a few more races in 2024 Rick?

Rod Grundy was 96th, again form only just one appearance in 2023.

Alistair Gifford-Moore, also only raced once and he is ranked 145th.

Richard Davis was the top V85, and ranked nationally at 160th, with just one event this year. Well done Richard, another national age group championship under your belt.

Our youngest paddler this season was Ivijah Campbell-Bryan who made his debut in November at the barrow Race and is ranked 168th overall and was 9th J12.

Mixed C2

Jasmin Uhlhorn and Rick Moore were ranked joint 7th

Liah Boyle and Rick Moore were ranked 34th

Liah was also ranked withe Neal Underwood in 38th place

Men’s C1

Ranked 25th and third V60, with just one event was Neal Underwood.
