Shark Slalom Page
2012 has been Jovan Leamy's year; at 13-years-old he entered Yalding Weir Slalom in March 2012 as a new Division 4 paddler and was promoted in the first event of the season.
He also attended the Yalding Weir slalom at the end of the season where he secured enough points to get promoted to Division 2; along the way he also won Shepperton Slalom.
Other promotions this year saw; Ryan Ludlow (14) win Winchester slalom and gain promotion to Division 3; whilst Deise Mendoca-Rodrighez won the ladies event and promotion to Division 3.

Jovan has joined Grant Underwood and Neal Underwood in Division 2
In 2013; The Sharks are planning to attend more slaloms and are looking for youngsters (and the not so young) who were inspired by the Team GBs stunning performance in the 2012 Olympics and want to try this exciting sport fro themselves.
